Webhook Triggers
Webhook Triggers allows TAT to receive triggers or signals from external services through a webhook connection. The Enable/Disable option controls whether webhook triggers are active. When enabled, TAT can receive incoming webhook requests and use them to trigger supported actions. The Send Webhook Test button allows you to send a test request to verify that the webhook is working properly. If the connection becomes disconnected, the Reconnect button allows you to reconnect TAT to the webhook service.
You can learn more about how to use webhook triggers in TAT here.
Long Strike Reuse
Long Strike Reuse controls what happens to extra long option positions when a trade is stopped or closed.
Ignore - leaves the extra long positions in place and does not attempt to use them for another trade.
When this option is enabled, TAT will evaluate all long positions in the account that are not currently part of an open position and include those legs in possible trade options. The existing long will only be used as part of a new trade if it can be used in a trade that satisfies all criteria for that trade template (premium target, width, etc.)
When a long is reused on a new trade you will see a row in the logs similar to:
Reusing 4145 C
IMPORTANT NOTE: This functionality will look at all positions in the IBKR account where the trade is being entered when searching for extra long positions and will find positions not opened directly by TAT. For that reason, this should only be enabled if you are not making any manual trade in the same account that TAT is trading.
This option can be enabled on the Settings page by setting long strike reuse to "Reuse for New Entry".
Aggressive Mode
In the standard mode of long reuse, there are situations where a new long strike will be purchased even though there are long strikes available for re-use. This most commonly occurs if reusing the "free" long strike would result in a trade outside of your premium target range.
With aggressive reuse mode, TAT will always re-use existing long strikes, even if that means your trade entry is slightly outside of your normal target premium range or would result in a more unbalanced fill price for puts vs. calls on an iron condor entry. (However, it will still NOT re-use a long that would exceed your width/max width setting for the template.)
Stop Management
Stop Management provides additional options for changing how TAT handles stops as market conditions change. The first option, Convert Short Stop to Vertical at .10 Bid, can be enabled or disabled and allows TAT to convert a short option stop back into a vertical when the specified bid-price condition is reached. The $0.10 value is the default trigger for this conversion.
Convert Vertical Stop to Short, is a key feature of TAT stop monitoring. It is highly recommended and is enabled by default. This will convert from a vertical stop to a short leg only stop when the long leg get to a 0 bid price and will not be able to be sold as part of the stop order execution, which can prevent your stop order from filling at all. The Convert Vertical to Short Bid Price box determines the bid price used to trigger this conversion, with a default value of $0.00.
Daily Profit Target
Daily Profit Target allows TAT to automatically take action when your account reaches a specified profit for the day. When the target is hit, TAT will close currently open trades and cancel remaining scheduled entries once the target is reached. The Profit Target box allows you to enter the desired daily profit target in dollars. The Delay Seconds box allows you to specify how many seconds TAT should wait after the target is reached before taking the configured action. The profit target amount needs to stay met for the full duration of the waiting period before trades will be closed. We recommend setting this to 10 seconds, to avoid a brief incorrect quote from triggering the profit target, when it is not truly met.
Net Liquidity Override
Net Liquidity Override allows you to manually provide the net liquidity amount TAT should use for PctOfNetLiq allocation calculations. When an amount is entered, TAT will use that value instead of the net liquidity reported by the broker for these calculations. This can be particularly useful when managing multiple accounts or when using accounts that do not use USD as their base currency. The Net Liquidity Override box is where you enter the dollar amount you want TAT to use for its allocation calculations.
IronFly/IronCondor-Full Stop Split (IBKR Only)
IronFly/IronCondor-Full Stop Split controls whether TAT will split the short stops on an Iron Fly or Iron Condor when the short legs of the position reach a specified bid-price trigger. The Enable/Disable option turns the feature on or off. The Bid Price Trigger Split box allows you to enter the bid price that will cause TAT to trigger the split. When the IC-Full bid price reaches the configured trigger, TAT will split the short stops rather than continuing to manage them as one combined full-stop position. This is necessary at IBKR, because when one of the legs in the stop has a 0 bid, their stop monitoring engine is unable to correctly price the trade to trigger the stop.
